Shipping & Delivery
Each piece of jewellery is made, checked, and packed with great care by Hayley. Once an order is complete, it is gently wrapped and prepared for its journey. Please read the information below carefully to select the most appropriate shipping option.
UK Shipping Options
There are several postage options available at checkout, allowing you to choose the level of cover that feels right.
Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 service is insured up to £75. While this service has proven to be very reliable, it is important to be aware of its insurance limitations.
For jewellery valued above £75, Special Delivery is strongly recommended. This ensures the piece is fully insured for its full value and offers the highest level of protection.
If Tracked 24 is selected for higher-value jewellery, the parcel will only be insured up to £75 in the unlikely event of loss or damage.
International Shipping
For destinations outside the UK, shipping costs are calculated based on location.
At checkout, customers can select FedEx Priority tracked shipping, which is insured up to the full value of the jewellery. This insurance is fully covered by Hayley, ensuring each piece is protected throughout its journey.
Dispatch Times
Once jewellery is finished or purchased from the Ready to Ship section, it is carefully inspected, hand-packed, and dispatched within 3 working days.
Tracking details will be provided as soon as the parcel is on its way.
Made-to-Order & Returns Policy
The majority of pieces are hand-crafted to order, including some items listed as “in stock.” Bespoke and custom jewellery is created specifically to individual requirements.
Because of this:
Returns are not accepted due to customer error, change of mind, or for bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces.
If there is any concern with an order, customers are encouraged to get in touch via info@thefloatingjeweller.co.uk within 5 days of delivery to discuss a resolution.
If a return is agreed upon, the item must be sent back in its original, unworn condition within one month of the delivery date.
Repairs & Issues
If a piece arrives damaged or develops a fault, Hayley is always happy to help.
Depending on the situation, a repair, replacement, or refund may be offered. Please get in touch via info@thefloatingjeweller.co.uk to arrange this.
Customs & Import Duties (International Orders)
For customers outside the UK, customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be applied upon delivery. These charges are set by local authorities and are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs.
It is recommended to check with your local customs office before placing an order to avoid any unexpected charges.
