All jewellery is designed and handcrafted by Hayley under The Floating Jeweller LTD.

General

By placing an order through this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

All pieces are handmade, meaning slight variations in texture, shape, and finish are a natural part of the process and contribute to the individuality of each piece.

Orders & Payments

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, bespoke commissions requiring a deposit).

Bespoke & Made-to-Order Jewellery

Bespoke and made-to-order pieces are created specifically for you and are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Once work has begun, materials such as gold and gemstones cannot be returned or reused, and significant time is invested in the making of each piece.

Bespoke designs are approved by the client before casting or stone setting. Once approved, changes may not be possible and may incur additional costs.

Ready-to-Ship Jewellery

Ready-to-ship pieces are completed works and will be dispatched within the timeframe stated on the FAQ page.

Sizing adjustments may be available depending on the design. Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of handmade and bespoke jewellery:

  • Returns and exchanges are not accepted unless an item is faulty.

  • Any faults must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

  • Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or damage caused by misuse is not considered a fault.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Resizing & Alterations

Some rings can be resized depending on the design and stone setting.

Sizing up is generally straightforward.
Sizing down may require stone removal and re-setting, which can be complex and incur additional costs.

Resizing costs are not included unless explicitly stated.

Lead Times & Delays

All lead times are estimates and may vary due to the handmade nature of the work.

Delays may occur due to material availability, workload, or unforeseen circumstances. Any significant delays will be communicated as soon as possible.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped using tracked or recorded delivery.

The Floating Jeweller LTD is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services once an item has been dispatched.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges.

Jewellery Care

Jewellery should be worn with care. Pieces should be removed during heavy manual work, exercise, swimming, or exposure to harsh chemicals.

The Floating Jeweller LTD is not responsible for damage caused by wear, accidents, or improper care.

Care guidance is provided with each piece.

Liability

The Floating Jeweller LTD shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its products.

Liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.
