Created in honour of our passage into the darker months, the Thorn Ring is inspired by the wild thickets surrounding my mooring along the river. When the world turns inward and the nights stretch longer, this piece becomes a reminder of reflection, protection, and the quiet power of transformation.
Sculpted thorns wrap around the band like a living barrier ~ a symbol of guardianship, boundaries, and resilience. They carry the ancient wisdom of plants that defend themselves gracefully: fierce yet beautiful, soft at the core but armed at the edges.
